Bryan is, quite simply, one of the most impressive interns I’ve had the pleasure of working with. During his time with us, he displayed a level of technical mastery in SQL and AppScript that you rarely see at the internship level. Calling his work as data processing is an understatement. More accurately, he engineered sophisticated reports that fundamentally transformed our workflow, drastically increasing the team’s efficiency and providing the high-level insights necessary for upper management to make informed decisions. Bryan has been an outstanding student leader as the President of the ISE Club. CFC BRYAN TAN YONG SHENG was an Armored Vehicle Driver for the PC AFV of Platoon 6, Glory Company, who has consistently given his best effort since· he posted into 41 SAR from 03 January 2021 to 02 November 2022. He carried a cheerful disposition in everything that he did, radiating an aura that influenced his section to have a positive mindset towards training . Throughout his service, CFC TAN had taken steps forward beyond his role as a driver, assisting his commanders in vehicle preparation to facilitate the smooth operation of his entire vehicle during training. This included the maintenance of the standby duty vehicles, where he demonstrated initiative by leading his vehicle crew in performing Before-Operation-Servicing (BOS). He facilitated the turret alignment with his section's gunner, communications check and vehicle oil checks independently with minimal supervision from the vehicle commander for him to concurrently complete other administrative tasks. He demonstrated a fighting spirit, evidently since he was injured from a BOS session, but remained steadfast, completing his tasks with excellence. CFC TAN also internalised new information quickly, returned constructive feedback to help the mission execution from the driver's perspective. This was evident in his Armour & Gunnery Manoeuvre Simulator Evaluation, as well as the Platoon Armour Live Firing System training . His communication skills on the ground, combined with initiative, compounded into his innate ability to seamlessly convert his platoon commander's mission plan into action. His thoughtfulness for commanders often manifested into smooth operations by executing his tasks with diligence. CFC TAN got along with his platoon mates well. His friendly personality made him well-liked by all. Being jovial, resilient and in constant pursuit for excellence, CFC TAN was an outstanding soldier and valuable asset to the company. His contribution to his platoon is greatly appreciated by the company. We wish him all the best in his future successes.

Bryan joined our company for 3 weeks from Nov – Dec 2019 as part of the internship programme we have with his school, Temasek Junior College. The Learning Grid is a group of companies that provides visual art, English and academic programmes for students from K-12. Bryan is a fast learner and a diligent worker who has taken well to a variety of tasks we had given him. He was given a robot by ASUS which we had just acquired and was tasked to explore how to configure and program it for various education programmes we planned to use it for. Bryan worked very independently and was resourceful in figuring out solutions with the help of our advisor from the National Pingtung University of Science and Technology in Taiwan and from his own online research. He was also able to offer constructive suggestions on how to best execute the ideas we had suggested to him. Bryan has good ICT skills. He figured out the programming of the robot even though he had no prior knowledge of the coding platform nor use the robot before. He is a confident young man who is able to work well with his colleagues. We wish him every success in his studies and future career.
